Whether you're hauling a Polaris Ranger, Can-Am, Honda Pioneer or another side-by-side, don't choose a trailer based on length alone.
Here's what to check.
Measure Your UTV
Know your UTV's:
- Overall length
- Overall width
- Weight
- Height, if you're considering an enclosed trailer
Don't forget modifications. Larger tires, bumpers, roof racks and other accessories can change the dimensions and weight.
Give Yourself Some Room
A UTV that technically fits isn't always easy to load and secure.
Leave enough room to safely position the UTV and access your tie-down points.
Pay particular attention to width between the trailer's fenders on an open trailer and door-opening width and height on an enclosed trailer.
Open or Enclosed?
An open utility trailer is simple, lightweight and easy to load.
An enclosed trailer provides protection from weather and gives you secure space for helmets, tools and other gear—but adds considerably more trailer weight and requires careful attention to door and interior dimensions.
Check Payload
Make sure the trailer's payload can handle the UTV plus any fuel, tools, gear or other equipment you're carrying.
And make sure the loaded trailer is properly matched to your tow vehicle.
Make It Easy
Let us know your UTV make and model, what else you want to carry, what you're towing with and we'll show you the size and types of trailer that will work for you.
